This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy, and Terms of Use for access or usage of domain name cometinstruments.com ("Website"), including the related mobile site (hereinafter referred to as "Platform").

The Platform is owned and operated by Comet Instruments, a proprietorship firm with its registered office at DM-119, Sukhliya, Indore – 452010, Madhya Pradesh, India (GSTIN: 23AHFPM6426Q1ZX), hereinafter referred to as "Platform Owner", "we", "us", or "our".

Your use of the Platform and services and tools are governed by the following Terms of Use as applicable to the Platform, including the applicable policies which are incorporated herein by way of reference. By mere use of the Platform, you shall be contracting with the Platform Owner and these terms and conditions constitute your binding obligations with the Platform Owner. These Terms of Use relate to your use of our website, goods, and services (collectively, "Services").

ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR OTHERWISE USING THE PLATFORM INDICATES YOUR AGREEMENT TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER THESE TERMS OF USE. PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING.

These Terms of Use can be modified at any time without assigning any reason. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms of Use to stay informed of updates.

To access and use the Services, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility criteria.

You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information to us during and after registration, and you shall be responsible for all acts done through the use of your registered account on the Platform.

You agree not to use the Platform and/or Services for any purpose that is unlawful, illegal, or forbidden by these Terms, or Indian or local laws that might apply to you. Unauthorized use of the Platform may lead to action against you as per these Terms of Use and/or applicable laws.

Comet Instruments offers precision measuring instruments (as authorized dealer for Fluke, Bosch, Hioki, FLIR, Testo, Metrix+, and other brands) and in-house manufactured LED display boards and industrial indicators.

All prices listed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable GST (GSTIN: 23AHFPM6426Q1ZX) unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. In the event of a pricing error, Comet Instruments reserves the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.

An order placed on the Platform constitutes an offer to purchase. Acceptance of an order is confirmed only upon dispatch. Comet Instruments reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time for reasons including but not limited to product unavailability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraud.

For custom-manufactured products (e.g., LED display boards, OEM indicators), orders are non-cancellable once production has commenced. Lead times and specifications will be confirmed at the time of order.

You agree to pay us the charges associated with availing the Services. Payments are processed via PhonePe Payment Gateway and are subject to PhonePe's terms and privacy policy. Comet Instruments does not store your full card or bank account details on its servers.

You understand that upon initiating a transaction for availing the Services, you are entering into a legally binding and enforceable contract with the Platform Owner for the Services.

In case of payment failure, Comet Instruments shall not be responsible for any charges levied by your bank or card issuer. Please contact your bank or our support team if a payment is deducted but no order confirmation is received.

The contents of the Platform and the Services are proprietary to Comet Instruments and are licensed to us. You will not have any authority to claim any intellectual property rights, title, or interest in its contents. The contents include and are not limited to the design, layout, look, graphics, product images, and all text content. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content from this Platform without explicit written consent from Comet Instruments.

Comet Instruments endeavours to ensure all product specifications, prices, and availability information on the Platform are accurate. However, we do not warrant that all information is free from errors at all times. Product images are for illustrative purposes and minor variations may exist.

For distributed/traded products (Fluke, Bosch, Hioki, FLIR, etc.), product warranties are governed by the respective manufacturers. Comet Instruments acts as an authorized dealer and will facilitate warranty claims but is not directly liable for manufacturer defects beyond what is covered under the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Your use of our Services and the Platform is solely and entirely at your own risk and discretion. Comet Instruments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or Services.

Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms of Use, the parties shall not be liable for any failure to perform an obligation under these Terms if performance is prevented or delayed by a force majeure event, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, pandemics, natural disasters, or internet outages.

You shall indemnify and hold harmless Comet Instruments, its proprietor, affiliates, and their respective agents and employees, from any claim or demand, or actions including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party or penalty imposed due to or arising out of your breach of this Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other Policies, or your violation of any law, rules, or regulations or the rights (including infringement of intellectual property rights) of a third party.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (including brand websites, logistics partners, and payment gateways). Comet Instruments is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party sites. Access to third-party links is at your own risk.

These Terms and any dispute or claim relating to it, or its enforceability, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
