Shipping Policy

Comet Instruments ships all orders across India through registered domestic courier companies and/or India Post Speed Post. We strive to dispatch orders as quickly as possible to ensure timely delivery of your precision measuring instruments and LED display boards.

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed on cometinstruments.com. Please read this policy before placing your order.

For in-stock items (measuring instruments, standard LED display boards), orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days from the date of order confirmation and successful payment.

For custom-manufactured products (e.g., custom LED display boards, OEM industrial indicators, custom digital counters), dispatch timelines are confirmed individually at the time of order. Typical lead times range from 7–21 business days depending on complexity and specifications.

Orders placed on public holidays or weekends are processed on the next available business day. Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding national holidays.

Estimated delivery timelines (from date of dispatch):

Indore city and Madhya Pradesh: 1–2 business days.

Tier-1 metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune): 2–4 business days.

Other cities and towns across India: 3–7 business days.

Remote areas (Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar, North-Eastern states): 5–10 business days, subject to courier serviceability.

These are estimated timelines and are not guaranteed. Delays due to weather, courier partner constraints, public holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control. Comet Instruments shall not be liable for such delays.

Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated based on the product weight, dimensions, and delivery destination, and are displayed at checkout before order confirmation.

Free shipping may be offered on orders above a certain value or during promotional periods, as communicated on the Platform at the time of ordering.

Shipping charges once paid are non-refundable, except in cases where the error is attributable to Comet Instruments (e.g., wrong item shipped, insufficient packaging resulting in transit damage).

For bulk institutional orders (educational colleges, industrial clients), shipping is typically negotiated as part of the order quotation. Please contact us at ms_comet@hotmail.com for bulk shipping rates.

Delivery will be made to the address specified by the buyer at the time of placing the order. Please ensure the delivery address, including flat/house number, street, landmark, city, state, and PIN code, is accurate and complete.

Comet Instruments shall not be responsible for non-delivery or delayed delivery due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer. Additional charges may apply for re-delivery attempts.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email and/or SMS with the courier partner name and tracking number. You can use this to track your shipment on the courier's website.

If you do not receive tracking information within 4 business days of order placement, or if you face any issues tracking your order, please contact us at ms_comet@hotmail.com or +91 98932 31873.

Please inspect your order at the time of delivery before signing the delivery receipt. If the package appears visibly damaged or tampered, note it on the delivery receipt and take photographs before opening.

Damage discovered upon opening should be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs/video as evidence. Refer to our Refund Policy and Return Policy for the next steps.

Successful delivery will be confirmed to your registered email address. If you believe your order has been marked delivered but not received, please contact the courier partner first with the tracking number, and then reach out to us at ms_comet@hotmail.com or +91 98932 31873.

Currently, Comet Instruments ships within India only. We do not offer international shipping through the Platform at this time. For export inquiries, please contact us directly at ms_comet@hotmail.com. Comet Instruments holds an IEC (Import Export Code): 1106000412 and can facilitate exports on a case-by-case basis.
